Keyboard Shortcuts - Copy & Paste - XP & Vista

May 18, 2008 by FD

When you need to copy and paste something quickly, Microsoft Windows:… allows us to do it by using short cut keys (hot keys) by holding down a combination of keyboard keys.

To copy and paste using hot keys highlight the area that you want to copy by right clicking with your mouse and draging it over the area to be copied.

Once highlighted press and hold the CTRL button (lower left keyboard) as well as the C key.

Now go to the area you want to paste and left click once with your mouse and hold down the CTRL key and press the V key - You should now see it before your very eyes.

There you have it — Give it a try!
